La Mère Diana Body Oil and our dedication to Bowel Cancer New Zealand…

We pour love into everything we do at Becca, but this one is even closer than the rest to my heart. Named after my mum, who recently passed away after a brave battle with bowel cancer, we are launching this body oil to reflect her true strength and bravery.

My mum was my rock, my biggest cheerleader. She was my brave and gracious warrior who fought until the very end to stay in our lives. We’re dedicating La Mère Diana (the mother Diana) to her because it’s another way to honour her, show my love and keep her close. She was a huge fan of our body oils and would rub them into her sore, cracked hands and feet after chemo and this gave her some welcome relief. We’ve mixed a combo of her favourite oils and the bottle design is a tribute to her style and grace.

Along with our usual base oils of hazelnut, macadamia, camellia, borage and coconut, La Mère Diana is brimming with gorgeous 100% pure, organic essential oils. Here’s the lowdown on the benefits they bring:

Frankincense

This one’s a bit of an all-round superstar – if you want to feel relaxed while boosting your immune system and targeting signs of aging this one is for you.

Sandalwood

Offering a boost to your mental clarity and focus, this oil has deep moisturising and anti-inflammatory properties and can help reduce feelings of anxiety, enhancing mental wellbeing.

Vetiver

If you feel the cold, this one’s for you. Promoting healthy blood circulation and immune function, this oil also offers blemish-reduction properties, perfect for smoothing scars and keeping skin healthy.

Myrrh

Not just for Christmas, but an essential year-round hit, myrrh offers support for the respiratory system, as well as soothing red, irritated skin and promoting inner peace.

We’re donating $1 of each sale to Bowel Cancer NZ to raise awareness and fund the research to work towards preventing this horrible disease. The more we know about bowel cancer, the better the chances are of beating it. It’s too late for my mum, but she’d love to know that each sale of her oil will contribute in some small way to preventing others from going through this in the future.

Love Carlie
